We made the switch from Hello Fresh to Hungryroot and we couldn't be happier! The variety is unbeatable, love the way you can switch between recipes and groceries. All of the recipes we've had have been good, no bad experiences. love that all of the prep is done so meals get to the table super fast!

Was so excited to get new variety but service just is lacking in a few areas. Love when we get what we order and the food is tasty. It's awesome having all the ingredients in the rights amounts to make a meal. The portions are generous and feed our family well.
What I'm not liking. When something is out of stock they just pick what they want to send without any input from the customer. Many times it's not even a comparible item. Example mashed cauliflower instead of roasted potatoes or peanut butter cookies instead of stroopwafel. A better system would be there skip the item and give a point credit or have the customer provide a list of okayed backup items.
Either way I like the food but system needs to have some adjustments.

Didn't love the sizes or the fact that I had no idea how much I was spending. Very sneaky way to show amounts with credits and carrots instead of money? Lame.

Hungryroot does offer great snack ideas and some easy breakfast options. Dinner and the main meals is where I was a little disappointed. I am someone who like to cut and can cook well. These meals are designed for those who do not have a lot of time for prep, cook, or standing around actively cooking. The way these meals come create a lack of flavor and for me I had to add some s&p, sauces, spice for the dish to feel complete.

I love the concept, and I enjoy the grocery portion a lot, I want to keep trying them, but I may reduce the amount of meals. I do want to try others to see if maybe my first one was just a fluke.

Everything I've had from this company has been great! The groceries, recipes, ordering all is very user friendly and easy to use. I would recommend and plan to keep using them.

Timely deliveries, healthy meal options, great taste, easy to prepare, convenient for a busy schedule.

The food was just what I like ,simple to make with no preservatives.

This is making my life so much easier. My kids love the meals and snacks.

Able to pick my dietary needs and only see selection that meet them! Food is delicious and flavorful.

Please deliver food to back door, this box was left on the front porch when i put it was supposed to go to back door. Everything looks great. However wish recipes were in the booklet that came along instead of having to look them up on the email

I've been impressed with what I've eaten so far. Everything tastes like the food I ate as a youngster in the 60s. I guess everything has become so highly processed. Your foods have been a welcome change!

The food is fresh, the recipes are delicious and the shipment packaging is the most sustainable I have ever experienced. I am pleased that Hungryroot offers healthy food that I can eat while using weight watchers.

Just received my first delivery and can not stop talking how great my meals that I cook turn out, the healthy, classic and fun food selection, convenience... I can keep going. Looking forward to my future boxes!

After one week, every day I've looked forward to cooking my meal, finding out how the recipe turns out, and how yummy will it be. And every day I'm not at all disappointed with any of these. A bonus is that every meal is so very healthy! I'm so very glad I found Hungryroot!
